yep, me too.

I went to the VA this morning,
after I left there I drove past Manard's. right there on the corner was a real smash up. two cars. they took out a stop light right to the ground.. from the looks of the one car, somebody was really going too fast .

new record ,,, 6 eggs today .

misting out too much for me to want to get wet.

Got a bit of tilling done in one of the gardens today. I have found homes for 150 of the strawberry plants that I dug up. Probably going to have to put the rest back into the ground. 8 eggs so far today but I had a silkie sitting and I have a few late layers. My EE chicks are getting feathered out and adorable. Picked another 2-3 pounds of shiitake shrooms today. They are still coming on like crazy. Looks like we may get some rain tonight. That should make the mushrooms pop!

I just ordered 3 gallons of maple syrup.

got 6 eggs today, not bad for having only 5 layers, eh?
I thought I had only 5 ..

that tornado went through just 3 miles straight south of us last night. brand newish subdivision.. all $300.000.oo homes and up..

I laid in bed and watched the light show.
I have a steel roof on every building and was it ever loud with the wind howling and the rain and hail beating down..

Kalib was sleeping on the couch out in the sun room.
all windows.. he said it was really light and kind of spooky.

Spooky describes my first experience with thunder snow in Wyoming. We were at a high enough elevation (7400 feet) that the clouds were all the way to the ground and the cloud to cloud lightning was right outside the window...

It was really neat when the clouds were lower than we were and we got to watch the lightning storms from above.

looks like we might have a white easter after all..

I got up real early today. was all cuppa'd up by 5:3o .

6 eggs yesterday, if they keep increasing their production I won't have any to get rid of. at 33% now..

One thing I miss about not flying is looking down at the clouds.

I ordered my disc hillers and a 3pt receiver hitch this morning.
should all be here in about a week.

back down to 4 eggs today.

all of our snow is melted already..

Does anyone have tractor tire rims (open in the middle with no tire) sitting around? We want to make a fire pit similar to the one at camp, but need a large rim.
