well,when you took 29. you came within 5 miles of me..
yesterday I watered all of the container plants.
I did not do anything with the ten self watering tomatoes. I soaked them real good when I first planted them, and then filled the reservoirs. This morning the reservoirs are still full and the soil is damp at the top.
there are lots of blossoms and many tomatoes already.
I will have to stake some more of the tomatoes..
the one lonely buttercup squash is reall vining out. and the leaves are like elephant ears. I had to move it farther from the tomatoes because it had hold of one already.
last night I assembled the first of two saw horses I am building. I have all the parts cut for the second one. just have to screw it together. It takes five 2x4x8' for material and a few construction screws. (24 of them) .
the 2x4's cost me $17.oo.
I saw a demonstration of similar saw horses.
they stacked pallets of lumber on them.
they held up 15,000 pounds. .

hi all,
raining real nice and steady here. I think I even heard thunder.
yesterday DD brought me a dozen more Roma tomato plants. college kid can't count. there were 14. brought me only 9 self watering buckets. All I have to do is fill the buckets with dirt and plant the tomatoes and water them in.
I got six of them planted. at 9:30 PM I quit watering them in. the mosquitoes really loved me.
I am trying to think of somebody, anybody, who might want some plants. free,,no delivery.

Too Bloddy hot and humid today. Decided not to work extra hours at Walmart. Made breakfast, took Padre shopping and almost done at laundry mat. Don says we are not staying to fold clothes here. We will take them home and then head to Whitewater Lake to dip in the lake. Stay Cool EVERYONE!! WE are suppose to have a high of 88 but the Real Feel" is suppose to be 96

Im working today in Watertown. It has been raining hard off and on most of the day. Love the good ole mid west thunder storms!

I was put on temporary lay-off on friday. Not sure how long I will be off work, at least I will get un-employment.

I gave the tomatoes away this morning. My nephew and his wife took them.
speaking of taking, I took pictures of the three surprise grapes. they were all in pots from last year, all winter, no watering, no care. I was going to dump the dirt on the garden when I got a round tuit.
also a picture of the saw horses I just made.
they're stackable, too.

i should have taken them outside for the photo shoot.
