it for so long.
I got a little tractor time in today. good therapy
for cabin fever. I went until a bracket let loose
on one of the hydraulic reservoir tanks. I will
have to make a new strap before I do too much
snow pushing again.
I could leterally watch the snow melting off
of the chicken coop roof. there is heat in that
thar sunlight..

Took a stethoscope out to the hives this weekend to check the ladies…. Could definitely hear them happily buzzing in their cozy home. This is the longest I have ever managed to have hives survive… fingers crossed they make it to spring!!!!!!

Yup we start to get some sun angle now. I have always figured bout middle Feb if I have some icey areas want gone good time to spread sand.

Nice February day for sure! Cut a couple box elders on the fence line today. When I cut the felling notch the sap just flowed. Since they are in the maple family, and I know folks that do tap them and add the sap to the collection. I'm cutting all of them down for less than stellar firewood.
Hope the snow coming stays south of here where it melts faster.
The sunshine sure was nice today.

I looked at the damaged bracket on Ollie.
I think I can straighten it and put a new bolt
on to hold it. cheap fix for a change.
the snow is really melting with the nice
sunshine we are having.
Friday I want to scrape the little snow that
is on top of the ice so the sun can melt the ice.
also it should prevent the driveway from turning
to slush..
tonight is our resident's last night with us.
Annie is not going to renew the group home
license. seventeen years of this is enough..
looking forward to some quiet time together.

We got lots of rain, sleet, and now snow. Its turning to slush ill have to get it off the driveway. 17 years is a long time, some quiet is always nice.
