Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Cebarmlds, thank you. it worked. now I don't have to google to get onto byc.
waiting for the weather to warm up. it is like waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I have just a few tomatoes and squash in pots. I have been leaving them outside around the clock.
they don't look like they are growing, but they do look healthy, some of the tiny seedlings did die.
DD Barby said it was my fault because I put them into larger pots,.,

Here in my area, it seems like once the skeets are out, the morals are up too.
Bagged a nice Tom the first week. I haven't seen any Toms
since then, only hens.
Garden is way too wet to till yet. I have plenty of other outside stuff to do anyway.
Sunshine has really been hard to come by around here.

Stay Safe ... bigz

plenty of sunshine today for a change.
congrats on the Tom, Brent,. take a good look at those hens, the Toms might be masquarading there is a way to get byc auto sent to you.
it has been so long since I did it I forgot how,
somebody on here can tell you how, it was not difficult
otherwise google byc cheeseheads and it comes up. kind of a pita but it works.
yesterday I sawed up the downed pine tree. only cut a slot through it so I can get the tractor out of it's shelter. now I can start getting my raised beds moved to their sunny spot for the summer,. have four 5 gal buckets of rabbit manure to mix with the soil,.. I use my cement mixer for that, blends it really well.

yesterday I put the charger on the tractor
after 2 hours it started right up
I haven't started it since last October
the grass is growing so I will have to charge the lawn mower , next.
I have to get to a green house and pick up a 4 pack of tomatoes,
question: can I plant sweet corn next to the farmer's field corn ? any problems with that ?

As long as you plant the sweet corn nice and early it will silk and tassel much earlier so there will be no cross contamination. Some farmers actually plant sweet corn right on the edge of the field corn field because it matures earlier.

Thanks Amer, I kind of thought that , but I wasn't sure, Hoping the farmer will plant soy beans,.
I bought 4 Big Boy tomatoes yesterday and
4 bell peppers, Annie picked out some Thai basil,.
I got to ride on the tractor for a while, back bladed the driveway , once up and down,
but it was too hot to stay outside,. 83F.
the cardinal is still attacking his reflection in the patio door,. sil put a cutout of a hawk on the window, but that didn't help,.

If both pollinating at same time go in your sweet corn knock the plants around abit to drop the pollen. Depending on how close the rows just walking down between the rows hitting the leaves with your body will drop pollen.
