Good morning all! SO do you think this is the "last hurrah" before more winter? It already feels quite warm out there. I hope they are all wrong and next week will be as nice as this past one. Not likely, we are in WI after all...but it is always nice to dream! Mr Red is not improving like I'd like him to. He is standing on one foot. I cant see anywhere that there might be a staph infection in there...but I think I will call around today and see if I can get the Koi meds that you can soak the foot in for bumblefoot. I wish we had a pond store around here! He just looks so darned uncomfortable. Does anyone know if the leg mites are painful to them? He does have some raised scales on his ankles and I have rubbed vaseline into them to try and smother the mites. Another thing...is it in 10 days that I repowder him with the louse powder? I pulled so many feathers out of his bum that were just encased with eggs on the shaft. He is so fluffy after his bath now that you cant even tell he is missing any.
I am going to the next town today to see a client that is just out of rehab. I am so excited to see him again and am hoping that he can stay at his condo for a good long time. He is in his 90s and is the sweetest guy. I will take him some "get well eggs!" That should do the trick! I am going to take the "visiting beagle" along too...I am sure he is missing his cat.
I forgot a few of my roos in my list of yesterday. I also have a Buff Orpington and a Columbian Wyandotte. That is the big white one that you saw H&R. He is a character! SO bottom line is...if you (or anyone else) can figure out my mix of barnyard specials I will give you a prize! With all the different roos I have you will have to be half right at any rate.
Well, off to work for me--those chicks of yours are so adorable Fordmommy! I had a dream about chicks last night...gee, I wonder why? I hope your tenderloin was delish BL4! I love tenderloin! Terri O
