Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Good Friday Evening to all.... bl4 glad you had a good time at hahn's they were a weekly customer of mine for 30 years. Are cliff and Judy still working, or did Brian take over? The stories I could tell about the good times there are many. Same with Pete and Jeannie at Ted's.

Glad the snow went south. The hens are enjoying the weather just like me.

Doc you'll love the good life. My nightmares of work have slowly subsided. It's kinda nice they are almost completely gone....my job sucked and some of my bosses were tyrants to put it nicely.

Terri O your're the best. I'm sure that Tiny Tim will apperciate everything you do for him. He will be additional work not being able to function with the normal flock. It's neat you are willing to take him.

I also love to inland trout fish. I was just reading that back in 1940 the DNR placed 10,000 brook trout in the streams leading into the marion area. No wonder the fishing was so good when my dad fished years ago. Today they plant 0!

When Grandma was still alive, I always stopped by her house to drop off the first limit of trout on opening day....she always expected me, and I always showed up. I really miss her too!

Have Fun.... ~ bigzio

Terri O- I'm so glad that I'm not the only one with a mismatched farm. It's people like you that make good things happen!
Fordmommy- your dancing is working, I just looked up the weather online and it went from 45 on Sunday to 50, supposedly 55 on Monday. We will see. Just wanted to let you know that it's working. Only light snow tonight too.
Dr HaHa- You still suck, but just alittle bit more now. From all of us who have to work another 30 odd years

Love the pics everyone!

Dang spelled angels angles, stupit machinist! Becky: I wish we could all do what I have thought's of doing, I truely do! TO I'm glad you remember those times they are a treasure that will never be forgotten and have a hunch that you will pass them on. And now for Bigz's I want to thank you for the little extra bolstering that is helping me through some serious doubts. It is my decision to do this but to know that I CAN and survive is very comforting. Thank You!

Bigzio, Cliff and Judy still own it. But Brian is there all the time too.

I believe Cliff will be there until the day he dies.

Aww now I feel bad for the giving you a hard time Dr HaHa. You can make it. In all seriousness if I didn't go to work everyday and had to stay home with my honey do list and kids I'd go crazy. So thank goodness I have a job I like. I'd rather take care of people who need it. Not like the lazy butts in my house. Good Luck to you Dr in all that you do!

First post of the day...I've been up for awhile and I was just thinking that there probably are a bunch of us already at the swap meet or on their way as I type. I was going to go, but I'm afraid that I'd come away with something fuzzy, and right now we have more than enough feathered friends.

The kids are so enjoying the chicks! They had a party last night and all the kids were proudly cupping chicks in their hands, parading around the house. Let's see how they feel about them when they're all feathered out.

I woke up to light snow on the lawn, and I'm okay with that..for now. Feels more like March to me now, and what with all this talk about climate change, March really ain't so bad. We still have one more good snow dump coming, anyhow. I'm betting last week in March.

EVeryone stay warm today!

Good Morning!!!!! You didn't give me a hard time Becky if you had you would know it because I'd give it back ten fold.

I know I suck and feel bad for all that have so many years ahead of them. I just can't help being excited and venting my feelings. It's not gloating and I don't do it to make people feel bad hope all of you don't take it that way. If you do then I'm sorry and PS you suck too!

If things were different at work I'd stay but I just can't deal with the stupid any more. It's now 0 steps forward and 4 back. Can't wait until I don't have to deal with it anymore. I will miss the guys and the humorous side to the daily stupidity. Have a feeling that I'll have a few stopping out from time to time. Have a great day!

Mornin BBCB. Ya I'd bet it's going to be like having a new puppy. Doting over it till it grows up then it becomes invisible. Don't see the food dish or the poop in the yard. Kids are like that ya they are. I forgot to tell you about the other day when Peaches was crowing nonstop trying to get the girls to come in from the woods. I was talking to him through the kitchen window, he couldn't see me all of a sudden he flew up to the window talons first. Don't know if he was trying to land on something or it was a sign of aggression at the sound of my voice. If it was the later it's the first time he's ever shown any type of aggression. I don't think it was. I couldn't have custom ordered a better roo. Work to do!

the swap is tomorrow,

Had a re-affirmation this AM. Peaches does not like rugs! I was cleaning the back porch and took out 2 floor rugs and he went nuts, again. All I had to do was take them outside, didn't even start to beat on them. After I was done and took them back in he was fine. Pretty weird. Tractor is warmed up going to rid the yard of a dead pine that fell in the yard over winter and anythings else that gets in front of me. MMMWAAHAHA!!
