Got the house toasty with the fire, so I guess he decided shirts were optional.

The chicks are about a week and a half old and I'm taking offers for them I don't have a set price. They are from a breeder not a hatchery.

YIKES yeah that is a 6 hour drive. Darn. I was thinking if it was an hour or two we could meet halfway or something. But 6 hours is too far for either of us to drive halfway across the state.

Well, he is so cute! How old is he? How does he do with being "gentle" with the chicks?

I have a 1-yr-old, and wouldn't trust him with a chick yet. When we got ours he tried to eat them!!!

Thomas is 20 months old. He knows "be gentle" from interaction with our Aussies as well as with his 5 month old brother. He's always been naturally good at avoiding stepping on Tyler or ramming his toys into legs or walls while runnung around with them. He pets the chicks with one finger.

Do you have any roosters? How do they do with him?

So far ok, but l don't let him chase them and watch close for any aggression from them.

So now I gotta. Poor baby doesn't have any clothes to wear but the chicks sure look comfy! ODrH hope you know I'm just kidding. Glad your house is warm enough for Thomas to run necked if he wants. I'd do it myself but it's not pretty. That's so cute about the one finger petting. CFC laughed at the tried to eat them would have loved to see the look on your face the first time. Geez you guys stop getting sick! Dr's orders!!! I kept thinking the whole first half of the game PASS I know it's cold but PASS! What a defensive battle. OK now everybody cuddle!

Hehehhe, we've gots us priorities, here. Chickies decked out in a brooder delux. Kid runnin' 'round nekkid, probably not dewormed, vaccinated, neutered, or licensed, either! Shameful.

LOL, naw, bring it on, I love a laugh as much as anyone. Just be glad I didn't get a photo of him last night when I walked in the family room to him kicked back in the recliner, sans diaper. *sigh* It's only the beginning.

What's really sad is the sheer number of clothes sitting in his closet from the grandparents (he's the first grandson and I think my folks had given up that I'd ever have kids...just wanted to get the job to a place where I could pay for them!) More clothes than hangers, but he runs around in a diaper. Typical.
