Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Snowy Evening All....what a great race today Doc! How cool was it to see a 20 year old rookie win. The new pavement created a different Datona race for sure!

Still coming down hard here, piling up quite well, but hard to tell how much really with all the drifting.

Yep, we can e-mail what's up with the eggs jim. I'll be happy to share buckeyes to the mix. Just might have you hatch some for me....I need some more javas and maybe a few more bucks. Keep me informed when you know more.

glad I'm not out and about today.... be safe.... ~ bigzio

Hi everyone,

Super busy lately the last few days..... I am working with a local rescue group and just got a new foster cat. Plus the we have the new Bengal kitten. We have a cat show coming up in March to prepare for. I've been shipping out a ton of quail eggs. And we have been running a bunch of random errands and making a ton of phone calls for the car accident. My hubby had to lose 26 1/2 hours on his last check because he had to stay home to help me out with stuff around the house and watching our daughter. So we really want them to get the settlement done for the accident because we are suppose to get back the money he lost. We'll see what happens.

Went to see Wicked in Appleton today. The show was just as good as when we saw it in Chicago the only problem was that we were on the first level and I had a tall person in front of me and I had to keep trying to see around them the whole show. Oh and the drive home was NOT fun at all. Snow, wind, slippery roads, not my favorite driving conditions. My husband enjoyed the show a lot. It was his first time seeing it and he bought a $65 sports jacket and paid $30 for a stuffed flying monkey for our daughter. She loved it and now no one is allowed to touch he monkey or she freaks out. LOL!

Oh and I almost forgot...... we're PREGNANT! After a year and a half of trying it finally happened. We have to wait till March 18th though for our first official doctor appointment. We had a basic appointment already to do a blood test and some other tests because of my previous conception issues they wanted to check everything out right away. It has been sooo different from my last pregnancy already. With my daughter I was sick right away 24/7 and didn't want to eat all I wanted to do was sleep. When I finally started getting an appetite I wanted chocolate and fast food all the time. This pregnancy kicked in right away with the intense cravings but no sickness yet. I've been SO hungry and all I want is red meat and vegetables. The thought of anything sweet or greasy makes me sick. Hopefully this pregnancy will go smoother then the last. My due date is 10/25/11 a few days before my birthday which is funny because my daughter was born the day before my husbands birthday. LOL!

I know the two guys that survived. One is a one of my uncle's best friends and the other was his son. The guy who died was brother to my uncle's best friend. I'll tell the rest of the story.....

They said that the truck just dropped. It had a tow package, but didn't have the plow on at the time. They said it wasn't above the water for even 10 seconds. The power windows wouldn't work after they broke through the ice. Todd, my uncle's friend was able to force open the back window and shove his son Cody, out the window. Very skinny kid. Then Todd tries getting out. He said he had to swim up about 6 feet before reaching the surface. His brother was a bigger guy, he said. They don't think we was able to get out the window.

That's exactly the way it went. Not good. I know of five trucks down off fire lane 8 !! I may never go out again. I was only going to spend time with my uncle. I'll stick to my smaller lakes for awhile and maybe after this memory passes go on bago down the road. Winnie is not an ordinary lake to be traveling on. Mike

TO, THIS one I mixed the right way and it was AMAZING!!!!! Perfect crumb, moist, tender,..... almost like eating a sponge cake but with the texture of velvet........ and yes, I followed tradition and baked it in a cast iron skillet.

I am SO SORRY all of you cannot have a sample.......

FM, I am sorry about your Uncle's friends. What a terrible accident.

I've been hatching eggs for that Buff Columbian wyandotte prject I've been working on and there is alot of culling involved. I hatched around 50 chicks and got 14 that are useable all are under a month old. I should get some pics they are cute and ugly all at the same time. My nephew is looking for a couple americanas for the fair this coming summer if anyone has any they could part with. thanks Mike
