Good grief, I'd go bonkers with 11 in this little house LOL. This house and the parents house is big enough for 6 people max and sometimes just having 5 people can become precarious.

TO-I started the day in one of my favorite Trekkie shirts (yes-as in Start Trek-I'm a Star Trek geek!). Classic Enterprise star ship with the quote "I feel the need for warp speed". I changed into my new Celtic design shirt. Horse shoe with those intertwined Celtic Horse themed horses. It's a take on the Welsh Celtic Horse circle.
Oh yes, baloots are rather gross...

I'm glad the Little Ladies are hatched and safe in the brooder!

H&R-cool incubator! I spy some Welsummer eggs and Blue Andalusion eggs in that there cabnet!!

When is the hatch due? Did I read a while back it is set to hatch the 25th? Christmas? Or did I read wrong and have no idea where that came from? If you have any non show quality pullets that need a home let me know! I want a dark egg layer and a white egg layer to add into the mix of eggs for my cartons. Oh and if you ever end up with another "homeless" Ameruacana gal....just give me a shout! I love my little Valerie I got from you....She is a sweet heart!
Yes, I must be crazy to get chicks right now. (Stupid Baby Chick Bug!) Everything just clicked into place so I guess it was just meant to happen... I just have to learn NOT to say anything to DH about my plans! He is such a bad influence. It doesn't really help we are both horrible enablers when it comes to chickens and such. Plus it's not like I don't have enough feed to feed them right?!?!?

Besides when the correct Chicken Math is applied, I only have 9 chickens so I'm good....

Tatt-baking cookies is the easy part! It's the trying not to eat them all when they are hot from the oven- that's the hard part! I did all my baking yesterday. I have to say, I made one batch from scratch (Andes Mint Chocolate Chip) and the other two were those sugar cookie rolls from the store. I'm rarely industrious enough to make sugar cookie from scratch. The only recipe I have is my Grandmothers that makes 6 or 8 dozen. I've never had the nerve to try to halve the recipe. It takes forever to use the cutters and frost the cookies. I'm tired just thinking about it! LOL!!

It just so happens I know exactly how to dispose of Christmas cookies...I have them for breakfast!!! Nothing better than a Christmas cookie breakfast

Hold the bus...wait! Did I hear you say coffee? You're going to drink coffee with a Christmas cookie? No no no no no! say it ain't so. You're going to ruin a perfectly yummy, sweet tasting, mouth watering, melt in your mouth cookie with coffee???

Are you one of these oreo eaters who never licks the middle, but instead just chomps it??? Oh no, Christmas cookies are to be used with MILK!!! Cold or warm Goats milk, Cows milk....whatever you have but not coffee. Egads, what a waste of a cookie! (Can you tell I am against coffee? Does it show too much?)

Hello everyone! And Merry Christmas early. And no way do I have time to go over more than a thousand back pages. (Sorry.) I know I won't have time to stop in during the holidays.

I hope all is well with everyone. We are all doing good here. It's been quiet around here. I've been dancing...

but nothing has been happening. I must have the steps mixed up.

And what's with the bators???? I'm so jealous!!! But first let's get through the holidays.
