It's on backorder, though.

He sent me this e-mail on Friday:

BBP man o man hope you get those bugs taken care of! CC that's so funny how when someone is hatching how it catches on. Buncha sick individuals! But that's why we're here! 2 more freshly hatched in the bator and several more on the way!

So many more pipped and have to give credit to Jim for his tutelage. He's the bestest too! The 7 in the TV have found the food and I haven't dipped beaks in the water yet on the ones born today but will later. I gotta get a pic of the one PR it's still sooo dang cute! CC if I could get L to get away from the bator she could. No just kidding. I tell her that she has to leave cause I can't see! She thinks it's funny. Gotta go check some more think I'm gonna be sore tomorrow or the next or the day after that. GO PACK!

Good afternoon...man I am beat! Crazy stuff going down around here...I go out to do chores last night and hear a lamb or kid crying...yup it has started...I smell like a sheep and I prolly will until this is all done 3 ewes to go and 4 does too! So the baby is a boy (of course!) Only a single but it is her first time. She didnt settle last year (I dont think--kinda fuzzy--really need to start tagging so I can look at a record or something!) So all the gates were frozen shut. I had to puller through the window in the sheep shed and then pull/drag/push her into the barn! That was after it took me an hour to figure out which animal had the baby and then catch her! I am a bit sore to say the least! Then there was her sister that was laying down and looked like she was going to die so I brought her out and put her in with the Mom...she is fine today along with the mom and the baby (He told DD19 that his name is Tommy today) We brought a yearling doe in that is bagged up...the mom of all sheep is bagged too...I left her outside though. They sheep do better if they give birth outside. I have found out over the years.

So the other thing is that one of my Border Collies has had a sore foot/leg. TOday she can hardly walk...I think she caught her leg in the chair back (going after cats) it is very swollen for 3 days and not going down. We wrapped it today and the JRT thinks she has a toy and is trying to take her leg away! BRAT!
So tomorrow I will take her for an x-ray I guess...along with the OTHER thing...one of my clients called me this morning at 6:30...she was "having an episode" as we call it. I am going to try and get her in for a psych eval tomorrow. Been on the phone and on line all morning...calling the people in her family and researching a syndrome called "Sundowners" Or Sundowning. It is fascinating...unfortunately there is really no medication...only ways to deal with it environmentally...anyone have any experience with this?

OK--congrats once again DrH! With all the roos I had running about at the time you got eggs I am not at all surprised that they are so fertile! Weird about the duck? egg! I have been letting those eggs stay in there now...might be a little turken for you! I am excited that you are excited! Lets get some picks up here now so I can see the rest of the babies! I want to know if the PR chick that is so cute has muffs and a beard and a top hat? Chipmunk or yellow? Black? Hmmm--maybe I should just take a road trip! LOL--later gotta make some more calls! TErri O

Decided on Duffy bl4. Short for Du'fluffy. Gettin tired haven't eaten and a few beers for the overly attentive dad already. Both chicks in the bator are standin and running a muck already. Dang kids! I'm already wondering how many will have to be rehomed to FT's Roo acres? I gotta go!

Man you guys are making me tired! Babies babies babies... Injuries, illnesses... And I'm not scared off yet!

i really want to head over to to watch all those babies being born. Hey DrH... Maybe you should just get adult diapers? Then
you could drink all the beers you want and not have to MOVE from the bator windows...
