Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I'm BAaack, I am at a standstill with the chick transfer until Brian calls me back.. I transferred 40 to the brooder that I was sort of sure of.. One of them might be coming back.. It had a sort of red tinge to it's behind.. more like a Buff Orp color, but not all over it's whole back.. but way more than a Del has..

good news about the ailing turkey poult.. I took it out of the therapy box and it walked normally on the floor.. we are going to keep this one.. we called the people and told them to pick it up and do the theripy, she said that they didn't have time to mess with it.. OK then, as far as she knows,,, it died.. I already told her that it died, before I found out that Annie transferred it to the TV,, she thought it was a chicken.. She is soooo helpful.. but I am not complaining,, she does a lot of the dirty work,, like setting up the TV's and keeping them clean.. If I forget to feed and water, she picks up the slack.. that is one advantage of being married to a control freak..

I am looking at the chick TV.. one of those yellow ones really looks like an Americauna. prolly a wheaten..

the trouble with tiny horses is that people don't treat them like real horses.. with training, they can be just as well behaved as large breeds.. If you just think they are cute and only play with them,, that is what you reap..

and a note to you new goat people.. DO NOT play butt heads with the tiny goats.. they will never get that out of their system and then you will have what people refer to as a mean goat.
same goes with sheep and cattle.. let them butt their own heads together, but you stay out of it..

Great pics...goats are kina cute.

Just a quick note....there is a yard light at camp that would provide plenty of light to set up after dark.

I should go get that fence up....Yep Jim, I use 2ft high chicken fence and loop it over electric fence stakes around the stuff that rabbits eat....just lazy and figured I would skip it this year....WRONG!

bbl... bigz

Just checking up and what I missed. Waiting for the jars of dry Quick Oats that I oven canned to cool so I can seal them with my Save-A-Meal...

You are such an Ebil woman.....Grrrr

Jim-I agree with you on the goat/butting heads issue! I once boarded my horse at a place that had "show goats" and the woman would teach the goats to do that. I asked her why and she said to make their necks nice for show. Oooookaaaay....It was a nightmare walking anywhere on the place. If those goats saw you they'd run over and ram you as a greeting. All the boarders got together to try to get her to lock them up but she refused. I finally took my goat hating mare for a nice walk one day. Who knew goats don't need wings to fly!! Needless to say, the goats left me alone after that and a few months later the woman finally kept the goats locked up. Only took a letter threatening lawsuit for her to do it.

BBP-You should build a little climbing "gym" for them!! That'd be fun!

Well, I'd best go check the jars....and get some lunch...

Later!!
