Another beautiful afternoon here...

Yep, in regards to adding light for laying, a simple 40 watt bulb is enough for 100 sq ft.

The red 250 heat lamp will also work for additional lighting....so actually you are extending the daylight hours as well as heat with the red lamp CC.

Bear roast with fresh carrots in the oven for supper with fresh rolls...the roast smells wonderful.

I don't know what I'm gonna do with all the leaves in the yard, cause I hate raking. I mean, I can simply toss them in the woods, but I'm not sure I have the ambition to get er done. Might just let them kill the grass, then i won't have to mow next year either....that's an idea that just might work.

I have this mental picture of TerriO grabbing one of her kids by the hand and grabbing the electric fence with the other. Laughing wildly and saying "yep it all tests out!" when the kid stops twitching.

thought I would put some cuteness on here. dd already was drooling over the kitties... too bad DH hates them. I would love some here!

Our 5 week d'uccle babies and a splash silkie baby. As you can see, Midas the gold d'uccle is very much a roo.... not sure on the others yet. they will be black mottleds.

Hi all...fence testing went well/no no one got shocked in any way! (you guys are funny) We did, however, increase my friend's fence from 500V to 6000V! Now the new horses wont get out at least. Couldnt get it to go up to 7000--the limit of my tester...she had some interesting connections that I had to advise about. (dont ask!)

So then we went and picked up my horse and went for a ride at her place. Lots of fun...got home about 7PM. Now me and the "kids" have been watching "stupid TV" for a while...Tosh.O I think that is what it's called...gotta be in the right frame of mind for it I guess...

OK, 3 mins to 9---yup--time for popcorn and reading in bed!

My favorite time of day! Nighties! Sleep tight--hope I sleep the night...
