I am new to BYC but my mom has gone on about it for a long time! And now after about 5 years (yes, 5 count them 5) FINALLY I have the trio of exhibition buff orpingtons I have wanted..... Cockerell James and pullets Henrietta and Marianne (my daughter says its Marihenne).
So as new chicken owner (one week today), I am jumping in head first and joined BYC and have collected enough eggs to attempt a incubation. I have borrowed an incubator from mom and eggs go in tomorrow!!!! Wish me luck!! Depending on my girls laying schedule tomorrow, I will have 10-12 eggs to put in. Can't wait to see if they are even going to be fertile or not, should be though!!!
