Witch rooster to breed ?

I haven’t asked about testing with this particular breeder, but I’ve bought from her before and seemed legit and all good. She told me she started with greenfire farms bloodline also but over the years introduced other marans bloodline to make the eggs darker.

I would go with #1 then for three reasons:

1. The other two roosters look a little lanky compared to 1. Maran roosters should be a little more compact.

2. You have already purchased from her

3. One rooster is easier to deal with than two.

I gotta agree. The only pro I can see of 2 over 1 is a back up is there already in case the first one gets snagged.

Yes ! That is the plan. Always have an extra just in case. There are to many viscous stray cats around where I live

Totally understandable lol I will say I think the tails might be better on the other two but overall I like number one better and his may grow in

I agree tails are better, but that could be genetics or he could have just lost some feathers another way.
