I think it's funny when people poke fun or are scared of witchcraft and pagans. If Christians took a millisecond to look at their traditions they would see they actually stemed from pagan traditions and alot of what they do is very witchy

True, a lot of things have pagan roots, that doesn't mean we practice paganism tho. Caroling has pagan roots, but I'm pretty sure nobody who claims to be christian is out here caroling for a pagan god

Yeah, I agree with this! I posted the story from NPR about the witch making a love potion, as it was interesting to me at the time. It was certainly nothing I would hear about in my high school, that's for sure!

I think we all make alters. A place we put things of value that mean something to us.

Oh, yes, totally. Think of the mantel above the fireplace, full of family pictures and keepsakes. That's an altar too, in its own way.

Well, my friend was raised in a hyper Christian home, so I don't really think there's a limit

I just set up my first alter and have been feeling really motivated lately, just setting up symbols, messing around with crystals etc
