I'd ask if you can listen to "The Wellerman". I don't think there's anything iffy in it. It's basically a song about whale hunting gone wrong. But I don't think there any crude language. But then again, I've glossed over vulgar language beforeI don’t think so… my mom occasionally sings the time to one or two of them.
She really likes Eminem. And 'Mockingbird' only really has one swear at the end of the song (literally 2 words and 1 chuckle before the song ends). It's pretty much a lullabye and apology to his young daughter at the time that he wrote itYour mom turned it on! Wow! That’s cool
“Pop music is for listening to on the radio. Not inside.”Sooo, you're not allowed to listen to pop music? Why may I ask?

Gosh, I would be bored out of my mind if my church didn't have the pop Christian songs. I need something that elicits a spark or seven when I'm there if I don't want to feel like everyone's solely watching me“Pop music is for listening to on the radio. Not inside.”
Of course, we don’t listen to it on the radio. We either listen to a podcast (Christian) or hymns (Christian) or praise songs (the calmer ones, unless they are the African praise songs. You knows the ones I’m talking about. Also, Christian.) or Christmas carols. I’m pretty sure mom dislikes contemporary worship music, but she can’t really ban it.
We don’t go to a church. We haven’t found any denominations mom likes.Gosh, I would be bored out of my mind if my church didn't have the pop Christian songs.
We go to Faith Chapel. They make it clear that they accept everyone, and Bible time is more like story/history lesson time. There's always either a slideshow, map or diagram drawn, if not all three while our pastor explains ehat was going on in the area at the time. Plus the christmas one is awesome. The story is always the same, but it's like a concertWe don’t go to a church. We haven’t found any denominations mom likes.
