Let's say Mr. Saddi has plans for extra roos already. on the vent sexing, am I spreading the vent area apart, or slightly squeezing it?

It's slightly spreading the vent apart (up and down, from tail to toes) ofcourse if you spread too far you will harm the baby so it's gotta be a very delicate thing. If the chicks have eaten they will mor than likely puke while you're holding them and looking. I do not poop coturnix chicks for this process i normaly just wait till i see one poo (since theypoo a lot lol) and grab that one and vent sex that way. I dont vent sex coturnix just because it's too much work and I have to wait until they are mature anyhow so I just wait around 5-6 weeks for the foam vent gland

Squeezing you'll just get an angry coturnix chick, that more than likely pukes and poos on ya

Mr Saddi has a magnifing stand (magnifing glass insert on a box) so I was gonns shuffle the yellow A&M chicks under (if i can't find a bump in 25x, there is no bump). I have nitrile gloves in case of pooing/puking. Hmm maybe that's why they're in no hurry to pop?
