I have a hen that is wobbly. She is 1.5 yr old barred rock. I raised her. A few days ago she started limping. I pulled her from the pasture and she has been in quarentine. She is moving around and eating drinking but she uses her wings to move around. Almost like a fish out of water. If I stand her up she stands well but not perfect. If she tries to move she will topple over. If i touch her legs she is able to move them both. She has been pooping normally.
I syringe fed her some vitamin water.

Has she been laying eggs?
Is she vaccinated for Mareks?
Laying eggs normally, around 5 a week. I am unsure if she was vaccinated when she hatched but I would assume the hatchery did not. I have not had experiance with my flock getting mareks but wouldn’t she have died by now if that wete the case or at least seen other cases in my flock?

I would continue giving her the vitamins.

She laid an egg recently right?
Have you added any new birds recently?

Is she doing any better?

If you have video of her actions, that may be helpful. Upload video to youtube and provide a link.

I'd up the vitamins and direct dose her. Give 400IU Vitamin E and 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily.
A sudden inability to walk, Marek's disease does come to mind, but there's other things that can cause problems as well.

I will try to get one. I have been giving vitamins and electrolytes several time throughout the day as well as putting food in front of her. She always takes the water and sometimes the food. She had stopped being able to hold her head but she has control of it again and is keeping it up. Just this evening she has started to take deep breaths. Not quite gasping but opens mouth sometimes for a breath. When I pick her up her body spazzes out.
