Woho, i think i got 2 roos! :D (appenzeller)

Some weeks ago i posted some pics on my appenzeller spitzhaubens... I had a problem to sex them. Someone told me that i maybe only got pullets, but this breed is hard to sex so i would wait some weeks to be sure.

NOW, i finally can see that i got 1 rooster, maybe 2 of 7 chickens!

I'm so happy! I really wanted at least one to be a roo.

Here's my little roo!

And here is the other i think... Roo? What do you think? He/she has no red in the comb BUT it's wattles are red.

And this one, i think is one of the pullets!

Please, help sex that little silver "thing" in the middle.

Fist two are roos. Last looks to be a pullet. Where did you manage to pick up a Golden Spangled?

Wow those are so different! Congrats! Nothing wrong with having 2 roos of a breed you like- it gives you a choice of dads if you want to raise chicks, and if something (god forbid) happens to one....

I bought those as eggs from a woman from "Falköping" in Sweden. She only got silver spangled BUT her roosters mum was a Golden Spangled. So some of the chicks got Golden spangled/dark lemon and some Silver.

I think this is a very good site to ask questons that they one the Swedish chickenforum can't answer!

I have learn so mutch out of you here, and have told the chickenlovers here about the things and this forum.
