Woke up to snow!

We got our first snow on Sept. 21, the last day of summer. We've had 3 more good snows & a couple of light dustings. Last night my waterer froze

I even had my brooder lamp in there. So this morning I tromped off to True Value to buy a 250 watt bulb & a second clamp light. I pray it works tonight

It was 95 degrees here today. I envy you with the cold weather.

You know,if you flush ice cubes down the toilet it'll snow............do it everybody!Especially if you live in New York!

Yep, caught with my pants down on the weather situation here in NW Kansas. Put up a extra windbreak for some piggies and covered veggies. Snow and cold just jumped right in, 18* today Saturday, and more sleet and snow tomorrow. Roads are slickery so staying home with the animals is better than the roads. I think a new record was set since 1948. Farmers almanac hard winter ahead. oh smile, life is good.
