Song watched her, then looked back at the water. Her memories were like the fish, there one moment then darting out of reach the next. She sighed and put her head on her paws.

Kyle let go of his reins and swung his quiver to see how many arrows he had left. He found only three. He knew he would have to use them sometime. He checked to make sure his extra quiver was hanging where it usually was. He nodded in satisfaction when he saw it.

More luring creatures both light and dark stalked him from the shadows. If he glued his eyes on the shadows, he may discover glowing, abnormal eyes.
