Vanessa got out of the poos, and shook the water off, she walked back to her den, she noticed it getting colder, the wind was getting stronger, and the sky was becoming grayer by the day, she was confused about this change in weather, as she was born in the spring, she shivered a little, then went back to her den, grabbing a few walnuts, and a few stems of berries on her way back, once she was into her den, she took a basket, and cracked the walnuts, and picked the berries off, she put them on a shelf, but then she made a decision, she went outside, and started picking berries off the bushes in masses, because the bushes we're dying, and she didn't want to run out of food, once she finished taking those back to her den, she picked up walnuts, until all of them we're gone, then she started digging a large hole in a corner of her den, she then started carrying baskets of water into her den, and poured it into that hole, she has noticed a cold, slippery substance forming on top of the river, and knew she should get the water before it was gone, after that, she took a basket, and picked large amounts of flowers and herbs, and she dug up many Spiceroots, once she got back to her den, she set the basket down with the other ones, and went outside, she found an old tree stump, that fit into the hole of her den, she could move it out to get outside, and could put it in to keep the cold out, she then went to the baskets, and started sorting all her herbs, flowers, and food into baskets, and put them on the shelves, she also took a large moose hide, she had found about a mile away from her den, it was smooth on the inside, and has coarse fur on the outside, she didn't know how it has lost its hide, but it was warm, so she put it on top of her bed, and then after finishing everything, she fell asleep, dead tired after several hours of work, and slept for the rest of the day.
