They reached the river and Doe set down the plants she had grabbed on the way. She looked along the banks for a good place. "Here, this will work for a small pool." She said and started marking lines for a pool with a small ditch leading to the river "We are going to make a safe place to drink from."
Rosie smiled "What can I do to help?"She asked
"Ok,thanks!"Dusty said and began tracking the other rabbit.
"I've marked the lines, just dig to the clay, and dig enough clay to push against the sides to make it water tight. After we finish that we will dig the ditch to the water and add the herbs and a way to block new water from coming in, so this can settle." Doe said
"Ok."Rosie said then started digging.
Doe started to dig again. After an hour they had the pond and most of the ditch dug out "Alright, now for the herbs" Doe said
Dusty had caught the second rabbit and was holding it proudly in his jaws,it had been a easy catch.More easy than he had imagined.
Rosie nodded and waited for instructions
