River ran into the den. She heard the news that something was wrong with her apprentice, Dusty. She was full of worry.

There was a heartbeat but for some reason Dusty was having trouble breathing.

Silvermist saw she wouldn't get her blow in but dove under the wolf to protect her throat, though its claws went deep into her back and she let out a howl of pain.

The wolves cheered louder as the fight escalated.

The wolf skidded to a halt as it landed and turned around for another attack.
