Ghost stopped. She pointed to the wolf sitting by the stream. Suddenly another wolf appeared. The wolf said harshly,"Shard! What are you doing? I told you to talk to your sister in the Outsiders camp. You need to tell her that Raven and Thorn aren't alive." and Zena disappeared. Shard grumbled and had a feeling of eyes watching. He looked in the direction of the pups.

Cleo walked to the back of the den to sleep.

"Our parents aren't dead."Leaf whispered.
Ash growled at the wolf"Who are you and why'd that other wolf say our parents were dead?"

Dusty dozed off.

Zoe stepped closer sniffing the pup and smiling. She lay down watching Soul Wind

Soul Wind had finally gathered enough nerve to step out of the den into full-view. She stared at Zoe until her eyes focused; she then yipped at the older wolf.
