"The pups are gone!"He said

Ghost froze in her tracks. She knew their was no way out of this one.
Raven's heart dropped and said,"We need to find them!" and she jumped up.

Thorn nodded and started to run out of the den but stopped when he saw the pups.Anger suddenly burned inside him"Why didn't you stay in the den?!You could've been killed or gotten lost!"
Leaf and Ash kept their heads low in shame.

Thorn still looked angry but nodded slowly"You better not."He grumbled and picked Leaf up by the scruff and carried her back into the den,ignoring her struggle of protest.

Zara had a strange urge to sleep. She woke up in an unknown forest. She looked around and saw a familiar wolf. "Shard!" Zara barked with joy. She ran up to greet her brother. Shard greeted,"Hello. I don't have much time so I have to make this quick. Raven and Thorn are dead. You don't need to avenge me. A fire started and killed them both." Zara's eyes narrowed. She knew her brother well enough to catch his lies, but this one sounded convincing. She said,"I will take a few wolves and scout that forest to make sure they are." Shard nodded and disappeared. She woke up.
