"Heart? Bah! He's nothing more than a submissive wimp," Soul Claw snapped, her tone muffled. She narrowed piercing yellow eyes. "Strength is what matters to me. Submit or I'll break his neck."

Soul Fang had been lying prone throughout it all with Soul Claw's jaws around his throat. What she'd failed to notice was the he-wolf was drawing his legs up under him.
