Zara backed up as she was kicked. Blood flowed from many wounds on her like tiny streams.

April growled as her legs were kicked out from under her. She fell onto Breeze and scrambled to get her feet back under herself.

Blythe tried again to get to her feet. She smiled when Nina walked up beside her. The twin black wolves looked at Zara, growling. Nina held her injured leg up, ignoring the blood that dripped from her wounds. Blythe equally ignored the blood running down her neck, and from the scratches on the rest of her.

April stood, growling at Breeze and showing her own fangs. She watched the other wolf carefully, then lunged forward, faking an attack, turning aside at the last moment to bite at Breeze's side.

Blythe took the opportunity to jump onto Zara, biting hard into the back of her neck and scratching at her side with her front paws.
