Pepper trotted out of the den, Opal followed, trying to get him to stop."Pepper, Father said to stay here! You can't leave. What if you get lost? They might not find you." Pepper rolled his eyes,"Opal, you need to stop being such a scardy-wolf. This is OUR territory, and since Father is not here. Its up to me to guard it." Opal whimpered. Father and Mother wouldn't like this. "Pepper, PLEASE!" He kept up his trotting pace and soon, the den, and his sister, were no longer in sight. Before long, he came to another den. Pepper wasn't sure where Father's territory ended, but this was still fairly close. He squared his shoulders and marched in. A single wolf layed inside. He growled as scary as he knew how. "You are really close to my home...Are you a friend or a foe?" He said, proud of himself for being so brave.
 
When Calypso woke up, the smell of fresh meat met her nostrils. Staggering outside, she lapped up a few scraps from the buck and looked around. Remmi was nowhere to be seen, and she had passed a sleeping Keira on her way out of the den. She walked over to the edge of the forest and made sure the scent markers were in place. Nodding in satisfaction, she loped over to their usual hunting grounds. Since Luna was feeding a whole litter inside her, she needed plenty of meat. After catching a rather large rabbit, she sniffed around for any deer signs.
