Wolves On My Property!

I didnt read the entire thread before I answered your question so I apologize if it was answered. Wolves have been spotted by reliable sources here in Colorado but they were NOT introduced here. The speculation is that the wolves moving in here are migrating here and are decendants of the Yellowstone group. This is info I got from a client who works for fish and game

Not sure if anyone has answered this haven't read everything, but there are a lot in MN and WI. I was looking at a friends bear set ups on his trail cam pics, more wolves then bears (northern mn).

I think I just heard yesterday that a young radiotagged wolf from Washington was found dead in Oregon. They were unsure if it was natural causes, another animal, or shot. I may have the details wrong, but that is my recollection.

We do have quite a few in Northern Wisconsin. They are farther north than I live. The bear hunters hate them because they kill their dogs, the deer hunters hate them because they are competition. People complain about the explosion in the deer population and when a predator is actually reintroduced to control it they get mad because it messes up their hunting season. There's a pretty stiff fine for shooting one though. If they kill your livestock the DNR probably issues a permit, but I'm not sure.
