I have a lavender Ameracauna and Spanish white face about 2 1/2 months old that only leaves the coop if I make them. I’ve had them about 4 weeks. Is this normal? Feed and water is in coop...could that be why? Should I move both outside for awhile?

Where are you from. Location will help. Climate and weather may have something to do with it. Have they had any predator scares or any stressors lately? Coop size? Have they always been in this coop?
South Carolina. Good weather. No scares. Coop is 4x8 by 6 ft high.

Is the pop door their only way to get in and out during the day? Is it always open during the day? Maybe they don't know there is a world beyond the door. You might try taking the birds outside in the morning and then let them find their way back in. Once they do that, the problem might be solved. Good luck!

Handsome coop! Ventilation? Those window openings are hardware cloth, right?
If solid, there's nowhere near enough ventilation there.

The windows are reflective, so my guess is they are glass. In S Carolina it could get hot in there unless there is ventilation on the other sides of thd building that we can't see. It's an attractive building from this angle, though!
