Wonder if anybody can offer suggestions to what happened to my turkey

I had a beautiful, huge BB white TOM who was around 7 months old. He has always been fine, no issues. We found him last night unable to walk - when we picked him up, he stumbled a few steps back down. He could not hold his head up, he was panting and his skin color was very gray (usually very bright pink/red). He was clearly in distress and we didn't want him to suffer thru the night so we put him out of his misery. He was destined for the table, but we chose not to clean him since we didn't know what the problem was.

Anybody have any ideas?

I know that BB have a lot of heart problems, it almost sounds as if he was having a heart attack. A quick look inside him would have told you if it was anything else. Sorry.
