i hope you are wrong! I gave the five boys away. I kept Freckles, both Lil Roos the old english game bantams and Mama hens golden comet cockerel.
That leaves me with 28 girls and four roosters. I know I know I know... but I love them so much.
I may end up rehoming new lil Roo, OEGB, because Lil Roo Sr was chasing him all over the place this morning.

Those numbers aren't terrible, actually. Hopefully Lil Roo Sr was just asserting his dominance, lol. If you do have to get rid of one, though, it'll be an almost perfect ratio! There's always a bright side. Happy chickens=happy chicken parents. Lol

lil Roo Sr is a WHOLE LOT of rooster in a tiny little body. He has ruled the roost (ha!) for just over a year now. My young girls are already showing favoritism to him. It inflates his rooster ego. Hopefully with the big five gone, he will calm down. I should have named him Fonzi.
