May be a one time thing but stop it before it becomes a habit! You can sprinkle adolphs meat tenderizer (accent) on the food and it should stop it. Don't know why it works but one of my rescues was a poopcicle eater and it worked.

I'll write that down and get some. We had one years ago that was awful eating her poo and other dogs..
She pooped again and didn't..I think she does it if hungry.
 
I am super proud of Lily! Today she walked a 2 mile race with me. She got to see the other dogs that were at the race and she loved the excitement of it all. Afterwards she was very tried and just fell asleep on my lap...
