Lucy....I think shes a terrier mix of some kind. Shes the only dog I have now.

Cosmo, a Shih Tzu. Got him from a client who didnt want him anymore. Lost him last August to lymphatic cancer. This was a bad hair day.

Bailey aka Turbo. He wasnt mine, but kept him alot for his owner who went out of town alot. I always called him my adopted dog child. He died of a brain tumor. He is my screen saver.
Ive also had a beagle basset that my Dad found on his porch that had been attacked by larger dogs. Hes been gone since 2015. I never cried so hard in my life when he died.

I love all dogs but my personal dogs have always been in extreme large and small. I love the newfoundland dog. They have a fantastic personality but will also protect their people. I've had two and they were both awesome. The problem is I live in Texas and didn't feel it was fair to have newfies here even tho they were indoor dogs. That brought me to the mastiffs. My current two are an english mastiff and a French mastiff (dogue de bordeaux). too many pix to choose from, I have thousands. :)

It was a crazy party with a lot of loud noises and strangers walking around. He didn't leave her side but he wasn't at all concerned with the other people. No barking, growling or hair raising. I've been a Doberman fan for a long time but I've been disappointed in their temperaments lately. I'm finding them skittish and fearful, thus why I've considered Beauceron. One of my friends bought a top of the line Dobe and he is actually a bit of a jerk. And she is a professional handler, so lots of experience. Sometimes, a breed's popularity can be good, but sometimes, it can be bad too.

I once really wanted a Doberman but instead decided to try a boxer, and I've never looked back. Doberman are gorgeous but those that I have interacted with also seemed skittish, and whiny. Beauceron look like big strong dogs similar to Rottweiler to me.
