Beautiful! That is the worst part of loving the big babies, their life spans are too damn short, and I've had several that helped keep the average down. It is heartbreaking.

Okay, I came here to read a couple pages and I ended up reading the whole thing! I've never owned a dog even though I want to so bad, but one of my favorites has to be a German Shepherd. Someone in my family owns one named Heidi, and she is an old girl but the biggest sweetheart you ever did meet. When I was quite little and sleeping over at their house, she would peek her head in my door to check on me.
She loves everyone so much and never bites, but she still had quite a bit of energy. When I walk into my family member's house her tail will go crazy and she'll walk right up to me while I pet her. She'll make whining noises but she'll immediately quiet up if you tell her to. Although... she'll sometimes complain if you say, 'Heidi, quiet!' 
She has an attitude, all right. But overall such a cutie! She is starting to slow down and I'll miss her so much when she goes, but this is turning into her life story. Summary: I love Heidi! I hope to get a German Shepherd one day.

Two separate couches. Suffered from severe separation anxiety for about a year until he realized wed come back every time and weren't just abandoning him like everyone else. And I'm not kidding when I say he DESTROYED two different 2,000 couches....
I wish he just ate a damn baseboard
And let's also remind you all how I mentioned how he is the love of my life... even after eating couches ...
