Thank you!! She is really a good dog and very smart.. it’s like they understand you when you talk to them... they listen and think about it.. that’s what it looks like anyway:lol:
And she is the type of dog that is NOT demanding! That’s the kind of dog I love as I really am in love with cats! We’ve always had Labs... my hubby is a hunter.. and Labs are extremely demanding... so we decided on a different hunting breed this time and what I’ve concluded is that it’s just ALL hunting dogs!! This is his new one... Boone.. he is a Boykin Spaniel... cute as the dickens but whoa is he obsessed with my hubby!
What a striking Dog...Love him....

I have always loved standard poodles. Yours is so pretty. Unfortunately it is the one breed my husband doesn't like, so I agreed to no poodles as long as he agrees to no beagles.
Perhaps you could convince him.. one of the best things about them is they DO NOT shed and they NEVER stink!! Can go forever without a bath and never smell! I LOVE that!! Plus, a pretty good watch dog!
You do have to have them groomed and it depends on where you go.. it can be quite expensive! I do it myself lots but when I don’t wanna I send her to the grooming school where people are leaning the trade.. it’s only $40 there and they do a good job. That pic of her was when she just got back from there.

Lisa is a dog groomer by trade..:wee
My Husband also said no poodles but I always wanted one after my little dog bolted from my friends and was lost probably to Coyotes. She was a Black toy poodle..Never forget her either.:th

But now he is letting you have one?... you are getting the toy poodle.. correct? And so now you will have 5 dogs?... those first 4 are yours?
And what breed is the white one again? I never heard of that.. it looks like a Great Pyrenees....

Yes I'll have 5 with adding Darla the Poodle. After being with my Husband over 30 years he doesn't pick or choose what I do..;)...:woot...Finn is a Maremma a Livestock guardian breed. Close to the Great Pyrenees but older.

I used to groom dogs. :) I know if I really wanted one my husband would give in. Maybe some day. I do like them. Smart, funny affectionate dogs.
