wondering what kind of chicken I have?

We recently caught this chicken. She was a stray that showed up at my son's house in the suburbs. We trapped her thanks to some ideas given suggested by fellow BackYard Chicken members - thanks.
We are curious about her breed, I thought maybe RIR because of her color and because they are so common. Also she is skittish but that could be a handling issue (lack of). She is the at the bottom of the pecking order but she doesn't seem to mind. I thought that might be due to her being added to the flock after the fact.

Looks like she could be a Red Sexlink (Red Star, Golden Comet, Golden Sexlink, etc.).

They are wonderful egg-layers. Very pretty hen!

I think she's just a barnyard mix. Yes, she's red and white, but to me the color pattern isn't the same as the sex links. She seems to have a blue-ish undertone? and the comb looks a little wonky to me, not quite a straight comb.
