2weeks and 8 weeks is too wide an age span wait until your Rouens are larger before putting them in with your Pekins but do put the 2 groups close together during warm days with wind block for 2 week olds so they can get to know each other through fencing or large dog crate but something just to keep older ones from picking on the younger ones. I'd give the Rouens time to get at least as large or close to as the Pekins in the mean time they will have gotten to know each other and will merge better.
These are my Rouen Ducks they are 2 weeks old. I also have 8 week old White Pekins.The temps are staying about 55-60 at night. The light on the little ducks is about 3 feet up and they want nothing to do with it. I was wondering how soon is to soon to move the little ones in with the older ones.
Sorry temps are a bit cool at night for the 2 week olds with out some form of heat. 2 weeks should be around 80 and out of wind. then 5* cooler each week there after.
