As I was walking inside I noticed this on the floor. Can anyone tell me

Soft shelled eggs are very common in new layers or first eggs of the season. If it's happening regularly they're not getting enough calcium in their diets, but if it's just a one off for a new layer, there's nothing to worry about.

Are you giving them shell grit ad. lib? What else are you feeding them?
