Won't go in the coop.

I would lock the run door, making sure they are safe in there with nothing to use as a roost. The dim light inside the coop is a good idea, and they should go inside to roost as it gets very dark in the run. If they don't respond in a few days, then when it cools down, keep them in the coop 24/7 when it is cool enough.

Welcome to BYC @HenPecked65!
At this point, not sure locking them up would do the trick and the heat is definitely a concern.

How big is your coop, in feet by feet?
Do you have 14 feet of roost length that is easy to get up and down from?
Do you have windows for light(and ventilation) in the coop?
Pics of your coop would help.

What I would do is put a light in the coop just before dusk,
one of those cheap battery operated puck lights works great for this.
You don't want it to be really bright, so if it's an LED cover it a bit to dim the brightness.

I would also 'disturb' the place they normally gather in the run,
put a couple buckets or something that prevents them from lying there.
Might take a few nights to get them to go in as you've been carting them in for long time.
I have been following your advice since Friday evening and it seems to be working great..put some objects in their gathering corner ..turned on the light in coop just before dark.. 1st night 10 went in on their own. .2nd night 12 went in ..just looked in coop this morning at 5:30 am all 14 lined up roosting.. roo squatting down in pine shavings nearby. I think your advice is working. .Thank you
