Wont lay?

I have 2 hens i purchased in aug. i was told they are about 8 months old and at time of purchase they were molting. since i have had them they lost a few more feathers on their tail and they have all come back in. i feed them laying feed. and every few days bread. i have placed a golf ball in laying box so they know where to lay. but they have yet to lay any eggs. anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks..

They are still molting, even if it doesn't seem that noticeable. They also have to get their body weight back up before they start laying again.
