I have a white leghorn hen that will not at any costs get off of a nest! She has been there for almost two days. There r no eggs under her n Ik that leghorns don't normally set eggs. so what could be the problem?

You're right. I've owned Leghorns and never had a broody. When you try to remove her from the nest; if she fluffs up and squawks at you, or peck at you...she's broody. Otherwise she might be eggbound. Then I recommend soaking her in a container of warm water up to her sides. Then gently massage her underside front to rear for about 20 minutes. Hopefully she'll lay an egg.

Believe it or not but my leghorn is sitting she excepted eggs n she has a dozen under her! #excited
