Solved Won't Upload Photos, Just Sits There

Just now had this issue. Site moving slowly. Was fine this a.m. First time encountered. On desktop computer, latest version of Microsoft Edge. It just sits and will not being loading the photo. No problems before this at all. Thought maybe you were going into site maintenance or something. And it may resolve before you even see the message.

Have you tried clearing out your cache/browsing history?
If things are running a little slow that’s always the first thing I do and more often than not it usually works.

This computer has just been cleared, plus cleaned out entirely and a new hard drive. It's not the computer. Ran CCleaner again to be sure. And I had trouble getting to this page to answer you. Tried to do the pic again, same deal, will do nothing. Something's going on with BYC, I think.

It was all pictures. BUT, there are gremlins on BYC. I answered your PM and it posted three times, then, it popped in the picture! What the heck? ROB, there be GREMLINS here!

I went back to the thread to post the photo and it still won't do it. Why did it pop into my convo with Kathy? I'm going to eat supper. My brain is not comprehending the gremlin activity today, LOL.

I downloaded it to my drive, then uploaded it to our convo. It took well over 10 seconds, but it did load.

I think I found the problem so no tech required. I downsize all my files. For some reason this one didn't take and it was way too large. I cut it down by 2/3 and it finally did load. So, it was a glitch on my end. PROBLEM SOLVED!
Kathy, that clue led to the investigation of the file size, so you get credit for solving this one!

Does Rob like when we solve our own problems? LOL. Now, that still does not explain the message to Kathy posting three times or the super slow sloggery going on here today, but that could be too many folks on the web dragging us all down. And I have very slow DSL here in the boonies. But, I tried other photos and they didn't work, so I'm not sure about that. Grr, I hate mysteries. But, this one is pretty much fixed and gone now.

I think the max upload size it 10 MB. Was it larger than that?
