Woo Hoo! Doing the happy dance!

The mail just came and I got two new books in the mail. I got a copy of "The Book of Geese" in the mail from the Holderread's (can't believe I have never read it) and I got another book that I ordered off Amazon, "Why Ducks Do That". I also have Chris Ashton's colour breeding ducks book coming.

I am *so* happy. This summer is going to be ALL ABOUT ME! LOL! I have been very sick for two years and had three major surgeries in fifteen months time. I am *finally* beginning to feel like myself again. I spent a bunch of money on myself (which we totally can't afford financially, but emotionally I think it was worth it) and had my hair done yesterday. We bought new patio furniture and are doing a ton of work in the yard so I can lay outside and read and play with the birds.

Life is good. I still sound like a cross between Darth Vader and a man that swallowed a frog (wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't a housewife, LOL), but things are looking up in so many ways. My husband graduates from college in about six months, we are in a cute little house on about an acre across the street from a lake, and my health is good.

I am so blessed!
