Great chickens. i have three of the five. 2 barred rocks. very similar to dominiques. and a partridge rock.

They are beautiful girls and no problem with a surprise rooster when you get them that size.

I've been getting 2 eggs a day, just ate one, actually. Yum! One almost sounds like she's trying to crow, it sounds like a goose honking. She's Maple, the lead hen.
