This is one of Harry's cockerels. He is still in solitary confinement......

He is already about 2 1/2 times the size of the little guy. As soon as he matures a little more, he will be going in with the hens. I have a "rooster box" for him to go into as soon as I finish cleaning it. It is way more comfortable in there.

A couple of them are lacking some feathers in that department...

The blacks are the most high strung and tend to pick on each other a little more than the rest.

Here's some nice black sheen for you to gander at.... and some pin feathers.

Here is the best picture I could get. They would not cooperate at all. You can see this one is slightly smaller than the pullets. I couldn't get a single picture with the head up.

Congrats on #5!

That black pullet is from John too, and if she soon doesn't start popping out some eggs, she and I are going to have a long talk about how chickens get in soup

Thats what I have been telling my Orp girls. Two weeks later they are laying like crazy.
