after some pretty extensive searching, I failed to find any laws in my borough that prohibit poultry
the person I asked at the borough said he was pretty sure they weren't allowed. in fact, the city of pittsburgh (we're in the city limits) does not restrict poultry, although there is one law limiting the number of animals per home to 5, but it isn't enforced, so no problem.
