Jun 28, 2016 #1 D dtown2002 Chirping Jun 25, 2016 113 23 88 Is it fine if chicks eat wood shavings? My 9 day old chicks do nothing but eat, drink, sleep, and dig around in the wood shavings. Also they seem to like to eat the wood shavings. Is this normal? My last batch of chickens didn't do this!
