I did a search but couldn't really find anything that addressed insulation of coop doors.
Live in NH- our winters can get below freezing and ice storms are common. Summers have started to get extremely hot as well, sometimes reaching 100 degrees.
I was looking at 3 coop doors- Adore; Eglet and the Coop Tender.
The Coop tender is rated for freezing and it's made out of wood. I'm worried about the wood rotting in the snow, rain etc. Yet, what would insulate better against the temperatures?
I have to get something sturdy, because we do have bears that come through my yard and I live in a wooded area with predators.
I looked at DIY- but my electronic knowledge is not great ( eventhough my Grandfather tried to teach me
)
Thanks!!
